Free Malware Analysis Seminar in Toronto PDF Print E-mail
Written by Barry Kuang
Friday, 24 August 2012 19:45

Greetings HTCIA Ontario Members,

CIRT TRAINING SEMINAR

How to quickly determine the behavior & intent of non-signature based malware and do something about it!

In this training seminar, attendees will come away with a solid understanding of why traditional methods of malware analysis and remediation are no longer practical and why organizations need to shift their cyber security paradigm towards an integrated response capability containing network forensics, volatile data forensics, and host data forensics to stay on top of today’s threats.

Breakfast will be served from 8:30am to 9am, seminar runs from 9am to noon.

October 1, 2012
8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
255 Front Street West
Toronto, Ontario M5V 2W6

Why should you attend?

Despite all the investment in cyber security, organizations still struggle to improve their cyber security postures. This is due to three obstacles plaguing organizations today...

  1. Over-reliance on Inherently Handicapped Signature-based Tools:
Technologies, such as anti-virus, IDS/IPS and DLP, don’t catch intrusions or data leakage unless you tell them specifically what to look for.
  2. Juggling Disparate Products:
Once an incident is detected, personnel must juggle several products to analyze network communications, computers and suspected malware.
  3. Lack of Collaboration:
Large organizations have multiple teams, each focusing on one piece of the cyber security puzzle—computer forensics, network security, compliance, malware analysis and more.

Come see how Access Data Software can help you overcome these challenges!
